I've been away on a little mini-vacation (can't wait to blog on that), when during the news in an obscure motel room, I hear that McCain has named Sarah Palin to be his running mate in "08.
SLAM DUNK! I'll admit, I don't know that much about the lady (yes, I said LADY), but in the last 4 or 5 days, I've been able to find out a whole bunch.
I usually try to keep out of a lot of politics because I get so irritated so fast, I'm registered as an independent voter for the reason that I personally think that Reps and Dems, harbor anti-christs at every turn, they just can't get enough power to complete the mission.
I said all that to say this:
Sarah Palin, former small town Mayor, Ok, she was successful at it because they wanted her to be govenor. Successful small town Mayor also translates to geee, we didn't over complicate things. Then Govenor of one if not the least populated state in the union. BOOM! Successful there too!
I have something for the Demosee's ( Dwaynism: meaning; cross between Democrat and Pharisee. alternate spelling; Dimosee, when Dim witted democrat and Pharisee are crossed)
You talk about standing up for the little guy/girl, you preach about everyone having opportunity, equal rights, equality for all.
Of all the dirtiest mud, let's go after her kids, one is pregnant 17 SOOOOO WHaaaT!!!!
tell me how pure your kids are, show me how you've never been in a compromised position, prove to me that you have never ever not in a million years ever anything.
Leave the kids out of it.... period!
So far what I'm seeing is that the Democrats are throwing a fit because they don't have anyone who could compare. Lack of experience in Big government, so what, we all know and have seen where a life of experience in big government goes.
Foreign policy experience?, well considering where her state of Alaska is located and how far away she is from D.C., to me that is as good as foreign policy.
Yes, I'm rambling, so I'll shut up... I just get real tired of politicians, and parties that never try to win by building, but destroy first, and then rebuild it in their own image.

I found it to be rather repulsive that the media once again proves that anything goes when it comes to so called "reporting" what they think we need to know; I would liken it more to a cat digging around in a litter box! They went out of their way to make sure that we knew that Palin's daughter is "17 years old" and that she is a "child". Is their intention to hurt Sarah Palin, or John McCain, or the Republican party, or all the above? Probably all the above. But I think that they have unknowingly shown the country that Sarah knows how to deal with crisis and DO THE RIGHT THING when it would be so much easier to do the wrong thing! Will others see it that way? I don't know but I love it when an evil plan backfires :)
